One of the most respected – and prolific – experts on marketing and branding, Greg Kihlström, tells Capitol Communicator that he wants you to get actionable information on how you can immediately improve your B2B marketing efforts at the upcoming B2B MarCom Summit.

His first session, Achieving Meaningful Personalization for B2B Brands, will help you better understand the difference between personalization for B2C and B2B, the expectations of the B2B customer, and the risks involved in not doing it right. “It’s a lot harder to know and understand who you are targeting in a B2B context,” he said. “Yet, B2B buyers expect personalized content. They want speed and accuracy.” He’ll be joined by Nationwide’s Tiffany Grinstead, and they’ll share practical ways to do it well.

His second session, a conversation with Verizon’s Kunal Mangal, is the Current Landscape for B2B Marketing. Kihlström says he enjoys the give and take of these conversations and appreciates the opportunity to engage with other marketing pros in between sessions as well.

“You really get to absorb how other people are talking about these challenges and their opportunities and anxieties. Both are helpful.” The Summit promises something for people at all levels and all company sizes, he notes.

Kihlström is a best-selling author (including The Agile Brand, The House of the Customer), host of The Agile Brand podcast, contributor to Forbes, Fast Company and more, and in-demand speaker and corporate advisor.

The B2B MarCom Summit will be held May 23. Information, agenda and registration here.
